Honey blossom is a recipe I have found in a book that lists lots of recipes for home made soaps. A real treat – this one is very nice and thought I would share it.
This soap is gentle with not artificial colouring. You will end up with a hard soap with large bubbles, a creamy texture and good for all skins.
15 oz (425g) vegetable fat (shortening)
10 oz (283g) sweet almond oil
7 oz (198g) olive oil
2 oz (57g) white beeswax
10 oz (283g) distilled or spring water
5 oz (142g) sodium hydroxide (caustic/lye)
2 tbsp (30g) honey
